There is no shortage of places for a raucous New Year’s Eve celebration in Kuala Lumpur! Watch fireworks light up the sky behind the iconic Sultan Abdul Samad building from Dataran Merdeka, or hang out at family-friendly parks like KLCC park and Desa Park City for a wide, open-spaced view of the night’s sky.

Thinking of celebrating outside of KL? Head over for dinner at one of the many eateries at The Curve, Mutiara Damansara -  and then move out to the main street for an unobstructed view of the fireworks. If you’re lucky (or unlucky), you might even be sprayed with foam at the stroke of midnight!
