The quickest option to get to Hoi An is by air, which will take about one hour from Ho Chi Minh. Domestic airlines has regular service from Ho Chi Minh to Da Nang Airport. From Da Nang, visitors can travel by taxi to Hoi An. By train, it will take approximately 17 hours from Ho Chi Minh to Da Nang, which would not be a good mode to get there as too much time will be wasted on the ride.
