Emily in Paris, a new star series that was introduced in 2020, tells a story of a young American who was sent to Paris to work in a marketing agency, Savior to provide an American point of view. 

As her place was situated in the 5th arrondissement, she slowly discovers the beauty of the city and the customs of Parisian life.

And..and.. It is located next to Terra Nera, which is famously known as “Gabriel’s Restaurant” in real life!

2. Café de la Nouvelle Mairie

This is the breakfast spot for Emily and Mindy, which is located in the fifth arrondissement. 

Start your day with a cup of coffee and a fresh croissant, or enjoy a wide selection of natural wines here in the evening.

3. Rue de l’Abreuvoir

Touted ‘the prettiest street in Paris’ by Mindy in the show, after a fun night out! 

This location is extremely picture-perfect in the daylight!

You’ll find cute French buildings, homes with exteriors covered in ivy, and a paveway with rustic cobblestones. This place may get busy during the daytime, so come in the wee hours to avoid the crowd.

4. Jardin du Palais Royal

A beautiful park where Emily and Mindy became friends! 

A peaceful garden, located not far away from the Louvre, is a small garden but another famous tourist Paris attraction where you will see many locals hanging out there to relax.

5. Café de Flore

One of the oldest cafés in Paris was the gathering place for famous writers and philosophers in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.

6. L'Atelier des Lumières

This Immersive Van Gogh exhibition visited by Emily, Camillie, and Gabriel is actually a real digital art space that showcases classic pieces in immersive formats! Observe the Dalí’s psychedelic work as they come to life on the floors.

However, the exhibition varies from time to time and it is not a guarantee that you would watch the same Van Gogh exhibition when you visit Paris.

7. Café de l'Homme

Not only an instagrammable spot, but their croissants are pretty decent as well!

As one of the oldest coffeehouses in Paris, you can look across an unobstructed view of the Eiffel Tower, while enjoying a cup of hot chocolate or a flute of champagne. 

This was also a ‘hangout’ spot for high-profile artists, and writers in the past such as Pablo Picasso and Léon-Paul Fargue.

8. Terra Nera

The restaurant where Gabriel works in the show is actually a place of film fiction. 

If you searching for ‘Les Deux Compères’ on your Europe tour map, you most probably won’t find it! 

It was filmed in a charming little bistro named Terra Nera!

Although you won’t be able to find the steak menu here, but the restaurant has tributed a new dish to this show, Tagliata di manzo Emily, a sliced beef tenderloin dish served with cheese shavings, arugula, and vinegar sauce.

9. Pont Alexandre III

In the show, this bridge is where the iconic controversial perfume ad took place! A model walks down the bridge undressed, being gazed, and followed by a line of men wearing black suits.
