Tanjung Jaga Geopark, Kedah

Tanjung Jaga beach is also known as Teluk Air by the locals, is famous for its beautiful sunset scene and also best for fishing and picnic by the beach!

Pantai Pasir Panjang, Perak

Although it’s not recommended to swim here, Pasir Panjang beach is a quiet destination where it is far from the crowds. It is also a destination for sea turtle eggs hatching!

Temalah beach has a long stretch of white sand and it hasn’t been developed; you can camp by the beach but there aren’t any toilet or freshwater facilities. So, remember to be prepared if you plan on staying longer at the beach.

Gorek Bay, Johor

About 30 minutes drive from Mersing, Gorek Bay is well facilitated with eateries and toilets. It’s easy to access and there are a few chalets for you to stay overnight. It’s also a great place for beachside camping.

Pantai Teluk Kalong, Terengganu

Teluk Kalong is away from the main road so it’s less crowded. There’s occasionally high tide but most of the time the water is shallow. There are also restaurants, shower and toilet facilities around for you to enjoy whilst at this beach!

Known by locals, Penujuk Beach is near to a fisherman village. There are eateries, toilets amenities nearby the beach. If you are in luck, you might catch a grouper in the stone area!

Pantai Penarik, Terengganu

Penarik beach is located between Merang Jetty and Kuala Besut jetty where’s the boat ride to Perhentian island and Redang island. It’s quiet and has a very long stretch of golden sand beach. Remember to order a fried butter prawn at the restaurant nearby, it will surprise you!

Pantai Bukit Keluang, Terengganu

Just right next to Bukit Keluang, it’s a hiker’s favourite hangout place after a good climb. It is said that during the old time the pirates used to hide their treasures in the caves of Bukit Keluang so you might find a fortune in the cave too!

Nearby to the Kelantan airport, Kemayang beach is a local’s favourite place to chill out during the evening times. Enjoy the sea breeze and beautiful view of the ocean. You can also find some restaurants nearby but it’s definitely very quiet most of the time.
